Four of Sheffield Diving’s finest travelled to Canada Cup to represent GB, Jack and Ross Haslam, Millie Folwer and Millie Haffety. All the divers had multiple competitions spanning over 4 days. Ross Haslam competed in a mammoth 3 events, individual, synchro and mixed synchro. Both Millie’s and Jack had to do 2 events. Brothers Jack and Ross Haslam narrowly missed out on a medal in 3m synchro competition. Their last dive, a reverse 1.5 somersaults with 3.5 twists scored them a huge 76 points but was not enough as they placed in 4th only 4 points behind the Americans. Millie and Millie dived superbly finishing 6th in their synchro event. In the mixed synchro, Ross and Millie claimed 4th place, just missing out on the pick of the medals. Both Ross and Millie Folwer dived very well in securing their individual events by diving into their first semi-final for GB. The success of the event came from Millie Haffety on the 3m springboard finishing with a personal best of 294 in 4th place.
