Competition Entry Procedures

Regional Events

The ASA North East Region Grand Prix is held annually by the ASA North East Region Association and incorporates the Yorkshire Championships and the Northumberland and Durham Championships. There are currently three categories of competition:

• ASANER Skills Finals (Novice level)
• ASANER Age Group Finals (Age Group level)
• ASANER Open Championships (Junior Elite & Senior level combined)

The events are spread across three competition days, one held in January, February and March 2009. The top club trophy will be awarded by accumulating the highest points across all categories during the Grand Prix.

The events co-ordinator will distribute the competition entry forms to the divers. This form is to be completed and sent off to the NER organiser by the parents.

Club Competitions

For club competitions the coaches will select the divers eligible to compete and then the events co-ordinator will enter the divers and inform the parents of how much and who to pay. This is usually done by writing a cheque to COSDC and then the club sending off a club cheque to the organising club. All payments to the club are to be made payable to ‘COSDC’.

Club competitions aimed at Development, Age Group & Junior Elite level:
• Southampton Invitational (Southampton)
• Luton Challenge (Luton)
• Armada Cup (Plymouth)

The entry forms must be completed and sent by the diver direct to the ASA before an official deadline date otherwise a late entry fee is enforced.
