2009 British Diving Championships

Sheffield welcomes the 2009 British Diving Championships from Thursday 5th - Saturday 7th February. The event will provide the selection for the 2009 World FINA Swimming Championships in Rome, Italy 18-25th July 2009.

BBC YORKSHIRE SPORTS AWARDS 2008

Well done to Sheffield divers Megan Sylvester, Ben Swain and Nicholas Robinson-Baker who all picked up prestigious awards at the BBC Yorkshire Sports Awards on the 8th December in Bradford. Read more in the news and results section.

TALENT SEARCH

The City of Sheffield Diving Club is on the look out for gymnasts, trampolinists, sports acrobats and tumblers to join the diving team! The club is searching for talented youngsters with acrobatic backgrounds to excel in diving. The club has an excellent reputation for identifying youngsters with hidden talents and ‘fast tracking’ them to international success. Most notably James Milton, who was spotted in a Sheffield primary school in 2003 aged 9. In 2008 James became European Junior Champion and ranks 4th in the world.

Diver Profile Forms

All club divers are required to fill out a Diver Profile Form and hand it in to their coach. This information is to be used by the City of Sheffield Diving Club on notice boards, in promotional material and on the COSDC website. Forms are available in the related downloads section and from the notice board.
