SHEFFIELD DIVING CLUB STORMS THE MEDAL TABLE
Nineteen divers from the City of Sheffield Diving Club put on a fantastic show at the 2018 Swim England National Skills Finals held at the Manchester Aquatics Centre at the weekend. Twenty four clubs from across the UK attended the event bringing together over 340 young divers aged 8 to 16 years of age.
Sheffield’s skills team won an incredible 10 medals in total and the most of any club at the event. Gold medals were won by Hannah Gowan, Chloe Strutt and Thomas Screeton. Silver medals were won by Lucy Maltby, Lola Mead, Sebastian Willcox and Bronze medals won by Jessica Ireland, Simeon Greig, Ned Curtis and Gabrielle Vickers.
Other notable performances were given by Etta Dodsworth (5th), Harry Burton (6th), Nikki Charlesworth (7th), Cameron Cinnamond-Bland (8th), Jasmine Price (9th), Alyssa Ramlakhan (9th), Dimarni Washington-Scott (21st), Charlotte Soanes (23rd) and Charlotte Sykes (41st).
