Sheffield Diving scooped another ‘top team award’ at the Talent Games in Leeds. It was, in fact, a triple triumph as both the boys’ and girls’ won their separate team awards as well. Leading the onslaught, Archie Biggin produced a storming performance to win 3 gold medals in the 8/9 years age group. Archie dominated the competition to win the dry-land, pool and overall medals. In the same age group for girls, Etta Dodsworth was a double gold medallist with Lucy Maltby taking 2 bronze medals. In the 10/11 years events, Oscar Wilcox performed consistently well, winning 2 gold medals and a silver. Jack Burrows won a silver and a bronze medal with Lewis Neilson taking a bronze. Theo Wellington and Theo Johnson also produced strong performances. Hannah Blake led the way in the 10/11 years events for girls by winning two silver medals. Phoebe Prescott was also a double medallist, winning two bronze. Sophie Mae Hancox, Gabrielle Vickers, Jessica Ireland and Rebecca Vega all made very good contributions to the team victory.
