Swim21
The City of Sheffield Diving Club has now been a Swim 21 accredited 'Performance' club since since 2008. Swim21 is the ASA's 'Quality Mark' for diving clubs. It recogises nationally and regionally the clubs that are committed to providing safe, effective and quality services to their members. Swim21 Club Accreditation is available to ASA clubs at five levels of accreditation:

• Foundation
• Teaching
• Skill Development
• Competitive Development
• Performance

Swim21 is a structured programme focused on the needs of the athlete, and acts as a planning tool to access resources and provide appropriate opportunities for divers to help them achieve their full potential. It was established to encourage clubs to audit their strengths and weaknesses, to make a commitment to developing their services and to implement action plans to reach development targets.

In 2008 the City of Sheffield Diving Club was awarded the prestigious 'Performance Club' status, reaffirming its position as one of the top diving clubs in the country.

The ASA has three key aims which are reflected in the Swim21 programme:
- To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn to dive
- To provide pathways to ensure everyone can achieve their potential
- To win GOLD medals on the world stage

Swim21 focuses particularly on the needs of athletes, striving to provide them with the best possible support and an environment that will give our athletes the best chance of achieving their potential.
